Install On Windows |
Top Previous Next |
Download the Windows setup program from cirrusprint.com. Right-click the cp30s.setup.exe program and "run as administrator" to install CirrusPrint on a Windows server. This will run an installation wizard, including panels for acceptance of the license agreement and the install location. The default installation location is C:\SDSI\cp30\server.
The setup program will copy program and default configuration files, create desktop and start menu icons, and install CirrusPrint as a service.
Once the setup is complete, there will be some new entries on the Start, Programs menu, under CirrusPrint 3.0 Server. One of these is the CirrusPrint 3.0 Manager, which can be used to start and stop the service, modify the server listening port, copy the current admin password, and launch the browser interface using your default browser. The manager can be restarted "as administrator" to enable start, stop, and copy password buttons.
The default browser login for administration is user "admin" and a random password. Use the manager tool to copy the current admin password to the clipboard.
Updates
You can use the same procedure to update an existing installation. Just install on top of the original location. Updates can also be performed using the CirrusPrint 3.0 Server desktop tool, using the Update button.
